I did it! I cut off over 10 inches!!

Here it is in an elastic, drying to send to "Locks of Love."

And here I am with my new 'do.

She did it all cute. I felt like I was getting ready for the prom.
I'm scared I won't have a clue when I do it myself.
I feel light and perky and bouncy. Odd words to describe how I feel, but it's true. I love it!
I LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it too!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! The new you! I love the light and bouncy feeling. You will love it tomorrow in the shower. =)
ReplyDeleteWay to go! Looks great! have fun with it.
ReplyDeleteThey did a great job with your hair! It is really cute and I'm glad that you didn't chicken out!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! long enough to put back too!
ReplyDeleteJill is right you will love it in the shower, however tomorrow in the shower it will trip you out a little. It is super cute!!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute and super brave! Good for you! Does your head feel lighter?
ReplyDeletelooooooove it!
ReplyDeleteYou were BRAVE and it totally paid off! Doing it yourself will definitely be a new experience, but you'll get just as good as it as the hairdresser lady. Adorable.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so good on you! When you wash your hair tomorrow is when you'll really notice a difference. It always feels weird after a dramatic cut.
ReplyDeleteSo now how do we tell the difference between you and Thing 1???
ReplyDeleteWay better than the Marge Simpson 'do I suggested.
ReplyDeleteLove the new look. Very sharp. I'd like to see the back--layered? stacked? wedged? blunt? I need the 'rest of the story.' And I'm with Shawn--hard to tell you from Thing 1. Very flattering style.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!!! That is adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks GREAT! It is so cute and flattering on you. I am SO glad that you like it or else I would have had major guilt about pressuring you into it. I agree that I want more of a story and more pictures when you do it yourself. I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks, everyone! I don't think these pictures are that great either. I'm still loving this haircut! Mark keeps saying how much he likes it, too. I had a client today so I have on a collared shirt and it's fun to try it out with different tops!
ReplyDeleteI didn't wash it today because 1. it didn't need it and 2. I'm still loving what she did to it. :P It has less curl in it today and it's still cute. Today was a shower cap day. Haven't used one of those in YEARS.
And yes, I can sort of pull back the sides a little which I like!
Do Thing 1 and I look that much alike??
The back is like the sides -- layered and she did just a few little flat-ironed curls on the top layer. It's the same overall length all around -- the the nape of my neck/bob. The stylist says that "Jon and Kate plus eight" sort of ruined the short in the back/long in the front look for people (I'm not that big a fan of that look anyway -- I like a more natural-looking length all around).
Man, if money were no object (ha!) . . . I'd cut my hair more than twice a year. This is FUN! And it only took me 20 years to try this!
SO BEAUTIFUL!! So proud that you did it, look at the smile on your face...says so much. You look amazing!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Stacy, that is so cute! And I love that you donated to Locks of Love! It looks GREAT!!! You go girl!! :p
ReplyDeleteLove it!!!! Investing in headbands was something I did when I went shorter, for the days I didn't feel like "getting ready for the prom."
ReplyDeleteSo this is like a week late, but I think it looks very cute; and not too short. I thought from your description you might be buzzing it.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's pretty cute!
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks, all! I'm especially delighted to have a comment from my BIL! Thanks, Dave! I'll post more soon. Thanks again, all . . .
