Renovating the Farmhouse

We're doing lots of painting and such and, so very thankfully, getting lots of help from good friends! Here's what we've been doing:

CLINIC

How it's looking (we've actually done much more than we're showing--we've painted it all (2 coats) and we've put up bamboo shades, the cupboards in the patient room and bathroom are painted black and have really nice brushed nickel hardware on them, etc.):

We've done much more than this as well--we're taking more pictures so we can update this post. It looks awesome!! VERY much like a good DEN color and we love it. It's called "New Haven Clay" (I'm a sucker for cool paint names) and all these colors look so good with that great wood!

LIVING ROOM

How it's looking (Again, we've done much more than this--this is primer and ONE coat. The 2 coats look absolutely PHENOMENAL! We're thrilled with it! It's seriously called "Brilliant Red" but looks much deeper than this with the 2 coats--more pictures as we update . . . :

Have I mentioned how grateful we are for friends who help us? :) One of them showed up to see the house and told me she LOVES to paint and did I mind her changing her clothes and coming back over to help! Uh, NO!! She's great and lives right up the street, too! :) They're in our ward. SO many people showed up while we painted to see the house, chat, etc. SO FUN!

How it's looking (this is the same blue we have in our dining room and kitchen in our townhouse--it's called "Jamestown Blue" and it's a historic, preserved national trust color and we LOVE it--we're so grateful to our friends who are helping us paint and do projects!:
