That's Us. A Little Highbrow. A Little Mundane.
From The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield--there's a great description of a minor character (the doctor's wife) in the book. It goes like this (page 104):
"The doctor's wife wasn't a bad woman. She was sufficiently convinced of her own importance to believe that God actually did watch everything she did and listen to everything she said, and she was too taken up with rooting out the pride she was prone to feeling in her own holiness to notice any other failings she might have had. She was a do-gooder, which means that all the ill she did, she did without realizing it."

I couldn't have said it any better.
I love you!
Hey, we've been married 7 times longer than the "Babe of the Year" and the "Sexiest Man Alive." They've got nothing on us . . . ;)
I love you, too. :)
Nothing.
Sorry about not calling. Crazy day with timezone issues. Congratulations. Hope you had a beautiful day together. Knowing you two, you did it right!
Love,
Dad
Happy Anniversary! You are a beautiful couple. <3 Kelly
Congratulations on the first 14. Best wishes for a continuing 'and they lived happily ever after.'
Thanks, everyone. I'm glad we went to the Michael Bublé concert in November for our anniversary. We wanted to do something low-key and special yesterday, but I've been sick :(, so it was a pretty mellow day. Still, good to be together. :)
I think I already wished you a happy anniversary when we talked about the Buble concert, but here's a belated happy anniversary to go along with it! Wow, 14 years; that's great. I'm sure you have many, many more ahead of you.
Happy anniversary!!
Thanks, all!
Peter, we are LOVING being in better touch with you. Thanks again. :)
Hope it was wonderful! There is nothing better than marrying your soulmate! I couldn't imagine anything else.
