That's Us. A Little Highbrow. A Little Mundane.
From The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield--there's a great description of a minor character (the doctor's wife) in the book. It goes like this (page 104):
"The doctor's wife wasn't a bad woman. She was sufficiently convinced of her own importance to believe that God actually did watch everything she did and listen to everything she said, and she was too taken up with rooting out the pride she was prone to feeling in her own holiness to notice any other failings she might have had. She was a do-gooder, which means that all the ill she did, she did without realizing it."

Stacy, not sure what or exactly when, but for at least two weeks now I don't have your links at the right. Did you make changes to your blog?
How strange. Do you mean ANY links? Like the recent comments and the links to the kids' blogs and the previous posts and things like that, too?
Also, it's over to the right and down a little.
Are our posts showing up? Like the "Encyclopedia of Me" posts?
Stacy,
I had the same thing happen. I found the links at the very bottom of your posts.
Jim! I'm DELIGHTED to see you post comments on the blogs!!
Thanks for telling us. We've been trying to figure it out today. I had our friend Dave look at it and he confirmed that sometimes they disappear for him, too. I'm not sure why!
At first, I thought it was only happening to people with the name "James." :P
But it seems to be happening to others as well. I tried loading/saving it again, so hopefully that helps. I think I'll list them separately as well, so there are two ways to access them.
Please keep me posted! Thanks for telling us!
Okay, just added it in a different way, so now there are two ways. You may have to scroll down a little bit past the ads and pictures, but they're listed there in two sections. :)
