That's Us. A Little Highbrow. A Little Mundane.
From The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield--there's a great description of a minor character (the doctor's wife) in the book. It goes like this (page 104):
"The doctor's wife wasn't a bad woman. She was sufficiently convinced of her own importance to believe that God actually did watch everything she did and listen to everything she said, and she was too taken up with rooting out the pride she was prone to feeling in her own holiness to notice any other failings she might have had. She was a do-gooder, which means that all the ill she did, she did without realizing it."

They are so big! When will you hear about the rice contest?
Oh I miss your family! Your kids are so sweet and cute!
They are getting so big Stacy!! Great looking kids!! :)
They ARE awesome kids (and I'd say that even if they weren't my grandkids) and they ARE growing up fast. Blink once and blink twice and you'll have both in double digits and one a teenager. Amazing.
You and Mark have someTHING(s) to be proud of!
Emily, we find out the 4 finalists on Monday.
Thanks, everyone. They really are getting so grown up - it's amazing!
You've got to be kidding! They can't be your kids! Wow, it has been THAT long since I have read your blog? I can't believe it! So beautiful and handsome.
I know! Thanks, Terah!
