The Myers-Briggs personality test is really interesting and can give a lot of insight--there is no right/wrong or "best" type. They're all equal. But it will help you understand yourself and your relationship with others and the world around you more.
Figuring out your "type" is simply a way to learn more about your way of perceiving and making sense of the world and how we all relate with one another. It gives good insight into ourselves and our relationships and careers and the day-to-day of how we take in and process information and what we do with it. I like that it takes judgment and blame out of the equation. It just IS.

Hmmm... I've taken the test before and gotten "The Dreamer" or INFP, but I took it again just now and got ISFP. Apparently, I'm a cross between Luna and Hagrid.
Blergh. Hagrid's awesome, and Luna... Luna is cool. I share some qualities with Luna. But she is not me - I've written a post about that, about how people are always comparing me to Luna and I disagree. Yes, I have some Ravenclaw qualities, but I feel much more like a Slytherin. And those were very underrepresented, only Snape and Malfoy!
Ha. I need a Star Trek one of these, since if I did this, I'd have no idea what it meant when categorized as a HP character.

Jimmy, I have to say that I'm not surprised you and I are so similar except for the "E" and "I" part. You're the same as Mark. It basically means we're all very alike, but I get my energy more so from being around others whereas you get yours from quiet time (though I think as I get older, I lean more "I").

Nevillegirl, I think that just goes to show how we can sometimes come across to others vs. how we feel we truly are. People keep telling me that I seem so organized and on top of things, but I don't feel that way at all!

I did listen to the first book and enjoyed it pretty well, but never continued it. I should put it on the list.
I will say this - the HP books getter better and better with each passing book. She wrote to an aging audience, so they get more complex as they go on. It's a fascinating series to read; and, oh, how I love the characters.
