A Big Day

Stacy's already posted about our new house, and believe me, just getting the house and moving over has been a whirlwind trip. Part of that move has included moving our business as well. We are very fortunate that a very good opportunity opened up to move our office to a spot not far away. The new location is in a very tranquil setting and allows us to be far more efficient with the space that we do have. All in all, even though it won't be in our home any more (which is a bit disappointing), it's going to be a good change for us.

Today is the first day we'll see patients there. It feels both exciting and a bit scary to make this change, but it's going to be so great. We spent the weekend moving all of our furniture, supplies, decorations, and odds and ends from our current office to the new space, and it's exciting to see it all come together. As with the house, none of this would have happened without the vision, drive, and leadership of my wife. Stacy is a go-getter, and this is one more area where she really showed me how to make our visions a reality.

She has been the spark behind getting a mass mailing out to our clients, letting them know about our change.

She was the brains behind getting our Facebook page going (even though she's not on there personally).

She is the gentle, but firm touch in negotiations, helping me to say the right things in the right ways.

She is the hug and kiss that keeps me going when I get frustrated or apprehensive.

She is the motor that keeps on running, even when she gets exhausted and would rather quit.

Even though the past few months have been a roller coaster of emotions for so many reasons, she has kept us moving forward and I can't thank her enough for all she's done (and keeps on doing). We are on to bigger and better things largely because she loves me and our family so much, and is not afraid to go after things for us.

It's been hard to clean out the office and start somewhere new, but I'm so excited to be doing this, especially with my best friend.

I love you, Stacy.

Wow. Thank you so much. This week has been exhausting, but what a pay off! SUCH a great first day at our new location! I'm SO glad we've made this move all around. It's fantastic! I am the most tired I've been since we've started moving - honestly almost too tired to even post this comment. But I didn't want to go to bed without acknowledging it and thanking you. What a full, great day, huh? I love being partners with you. And I love this adventure we're on. I love you!

The new space is beautiful and professional! I know it will allow you to be more productive (and think of the wildlife you'll see from your office window!). It's going to be great. Plus, even though the office isn't in your home, it will actually allow you to be home more since you can be so productive there!
