That's Us. A Little Highbrow. A Little Mundane.
From The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield--there's a great description of a minor character (the doctor's wife) in the book. It goes like this (page 104):
"The doctor's wife wasn't a bad woman. She was sufficiently convinced of her own importance to believe that God actually did watch everything she did and listen to everything she said, and she was too taken up with rooting out the pride she was prone to feeling in her own holiness to notice any other failings she might have had. She was a do-gooder, which means that all the ill she did, she did without realizing it."

Awwww... Happy anniversary! 17 years is awesome! What are you doing to celebrate?
17 years?! Wow. Congrats guys. You make one beautiful couple!
To clarify, today is the anniversary of the first kiss. For some reason the date has stuck with us for all these years. Later this month we'll be celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary.
And thanks, Jessica. Fortunately my 10% contribution to the "beautiful" aspect of this couple doesn't take away from Stacy's 90%.
too sweet. congratulations!
Awwww, so sweet. Thanks for the post, Sweetie. I'm so glad you kissed me 17 years ago and that we're still kissing now! I love you!
All this kissing. TMI, TMI!!!
That's sweet. Such a great date, too!
Gary, That first kiss was not really A KISS. knowing them at the time I am sure it was just a meeting of the lips. lol
