That's Us. A Little Highbrow. A Little Mundane.
From The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield--there's a great description of a minor character (the doctor's wife) in the book. It goes like this (page 104):
"The doctor's wife wasn't a bad woman. She was sufficiently convinced of her own importance to believe that God actually did watch everything she did and listen to everything she said, and she was too taken up with rooting out the pride she was prone to feeling in her own holiness to notice any other failings she might have had. She was a do-gooder, which means that all the ill she did, she did without realizing it."

She got her braces off?
(Either that or put her on hat on differently because the bow isn't shown in the other picture, but somehow I don't think that's it. :P)
Yay!
So exciting!
Braces off. Big day and what a beautiful smile.
You are so beautiful. Congratulations.
SOOO glad to have them off. ;)
My beautiful girl - inside and out!
I don't like this at all. Kate looks older every time I see her and soon she won't be running around with a Nerf gun shouting HUZZAH, or doing other kid stuff. Can't she stay forever 13? Hummpphh.
I feel like she'll always be that girl shouting and doing Nerf battles, no matter how old she is. Have you seen the video of Stacy playing? ;)
And Dave, isn't part of the problem that "forever 13" for her looks like this? Eleven. That was a good age . . .
