This is what my kids do . . .

 . . . when I get self-involved in blogging political rants.

Mark and I have been blogging A LOT this past week. There are plenty of posts to read below.

For now, enjoy this. We did. Mark and I laughed like crazy at this.

Remember when MTV used to have music videos? Like it was supposed to? You know, before reality TV took over?

LOVE this video! Like, I'd better not be drinking milk because it's coming out my nose right now kind of love it. It takes a lot to make me really laugh out loud and this video had me going.

It's like they woke up and said, "You know what's missing in our lives today? A really good video of us dressing like fairies, jumping off of beds, throwing cards, and dancing crazily along to a really thumpin' dance beat."

Nice job, Things!

We had so much fun doing this! :D The best part? That was take one-the first and final take. XD

OMG. I just watched it again. I laughed out loud SEVERAL times. The straight faces are what totally get me (so long as they don't make eye contact). SO STINKING FUNNY.

You've got the random blond fairy in the background doing a bunch of repetitive moves while the mock rapper comes in with playing cards and grooves while "shuff-a-ling." Bwahahaha!

THANK YOU for this. I've missed the B-52s and this helps. :)

I do remember when MTV showed music videos. Any chance you remember Friday Night Videos on NBC (I think). Anyway, I remember staying up late to watch the premiere of Thriller.

Your kids are hilarious!

I don't remember that. Mark doesn't either. But we looked it up and it went from 1983 - 2002, so we're not sure how we missed that?!?

I do have vague recollections of "Thriller" coming out, though. And for years, Vincent Price freaked me the hell out.
