That's Us. A Little Highbrow. A Little Mundane.
From The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield--there's a great description of a minor character (the doctor's wife) in the book. It goes like this (page 104):
"The doctor's wife wasn't a bad woman. She was sufficiently convinced of her own importance to believe that God actually did watch everything she did and listen to everything she said, and she was too taken up with rooting out the pride she was prone to feeling in her own holiness to notice any other failings she might have had. She was a do-gooder, which means that all the ill she did, she did without realizing it."

hiLARIOUS. love your room too, cool purple door.
also, i think the socks on hardwood put them at a serious disadvantage!
Fun Learning
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!
So cute. We're looking forward to seeing their antics in person!
LOL! Good point about the socks! :P
We're not liking the purple door as much as we thought we might. We're looking at turning the room into a rustic farmhouse dining room with darkish red plaid curtains and darker brown (almost that antique black) around the room (wood, etc.) and stuff like that. Whenever we get to that . . .
We're excited for Grandma and Papa to visit! :)
