It's a Her Birthday, Too!

As many of you may know (and maybe some of you don't), it's Stacy's birthday today. I wanted to post and tell the "world" what a wonderful person she is. If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting her in person you've truly missed out. She is kind and caring, thoughtful and selfless, and my best friend. Here are a few birthday-related reasons I love her:

1. She loves to eat good food on her birthday (sushi today--Yum!).
2. She relishes the simple things that make a birthday special.
3. She doesn't like cake too much, but will put a candle in anything for her birthday wish (cookie dough last year).
4. She is always surprised at what we get her for her birthday, and loves her present every year.
5. She always smiles really big when I'm the first to wish her a happy birthday at midnight (yes, we are up that late every year on her birthday).
6. She lights up when she gets a birthday greeting from a friend or family member.
7. She checks her email even more frequently than usual (see #6).
8. She makes everyone's birthday really special, like that person is the only important one that day.
9. She makes that cute little dimple appear a lot each birthday with all of her sincere smiles.
10. She really enjoys being around her family on her birthday and makes us all feel blessed to be in her life.

I hope this birthday ends up being a really nice one for you. I love you, Little Miss.
