Wii Fun
Before our trip to Florida, we had some friends over and we played Wii and it was really fun. They brought over some of their games and we played a mix of games. One of them was Mario Olympics (or something like that) and it was CRAZY!! Her kids are totally into sports (especially basketball and football) and there was a little trash talking going on--it was awesome.
Here's a little sampling of what it's like to Wii around here. We laughed SO HARD that night. They took video with their cell phones and then emailed them to us. Apparently one of the things they thought was funny is that I'm running in place (you don't have to do that) for the sprints where we're racing each other.
I really don't know why I keep running in place. I must REALLY get into character when I Wii. Apparently.
This video is of Thing 2 doing tricks on the trampoline as part of the Wii Olympics. We really wish we'd videoed him the first time as he was kicking out his legs even more! He's very wiggly when he Wiis.
And here's Thing 1 doing the trampoline--she was very good at it right away. If you listen closely, you can hear a bit of trash talking. I belive Kobe says, "Oh man, she didn't mess up." Good times.

That looks like a fun night! I love your little screams and Things 2's leg kicks. Classic!
That looks so much fun. I love overhearing other people laughing. I can't help but feel happy when I do.
That is so funny! We like the Mario Sonic Olympics too- and the Wii Fit is awesome! I love watching them do the hula hoop, lol. You are a fast runner! ;)
That really does look like a fun night. I am with April, I love to listen to my kids laugh and interact with other people. It always makes me smile to see how grown up they are getting. I am thinking the WII fairy needs to pay a visit to our house.....
PS Sorry i ditched you on our last chat! Things got nuts and blah blah blah, you know how it is. =)
That looks like SO much fun. By the way it is very hilarious watching you play. :P
Jessica, SO funny.
April, me, too. I used to laugh from my gut so much more as a teenager, so I love when I can do it again.
Lena, hula hoop? THAT sounds fun! The surfing looks fun, too. And we're so keeping our eyes on the Wii Fit. I've never thought of myself as a fast runner, so thanks!
Jill, I love hearing laughter. Sometimes it's so contagious. No worries about the chat! That's the beauty of IM!! And I do know how it is. :)
Sierra, thanks!
