Major Networking Begins!

Well, in addition to emailing several friends and family yesterday, we've spent the morning out in the community delivering tri-fold brochures, business cards, and a list of our upcoming classes and lectures. We've posted them at 3 Natural Health Food Stores (all VERY excited to spread the word--ALL of them expressing how often people seek acupuncturists especially), the library, a local coffeehouse (big hangout for the local college students who also often seek acupuncturists), a local ice cream and sandwich shop (one lady there cried when she read the "counseling" section of our brochure!!)--that whole place, both workers and clients, has been excited about what we're doing. One lady (a customer--the one who cried), recognized me by name right away from having talked with her earlier one time buying ice cream!! Oh! And we can enter those drawings where you toss in your business cards for free lunches and dinners!! Yeeha! :)

We've also stopped at some Yoga places and we're working on getting stuff out to the colleges and hospital as well. We've also contacted the local newspaper as they've mentioned wanting to do an article on us!

Tomorrow, we get our "Referral Pads" (kind of like Rx pads, but with referal info for our wellness center) from the printers and get those out to local doctors and practitioners!!

Our website has had close to 300 hits so far (hurrah!) and word seems to be spreading. Our sign is up and our door has lettering. Our sign is also lit up at night and we're working on landscaping. It's really coming together!! Now, may the phone ring and ring with appointments!! :)
