That's Us. A Little Highbrow. A Little Mundane.
From The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield--there's a great description of a minor character (the doctor's wife) in the book. It goes like this (page 104):
"The doctor's wife wasn't a bad woman. She was sufficiently convinced of her own importance to believe that God actually did watch everything she did and listen to everything she said, and she was too taken up with rooting out the pride she was prone to feeling in her own holiness to notice any other failings she might have had. She was a do-gooder, which means that all the ill she did, she did without realizing it."

that's not her real name is it?
Well it's "Mercado" which means Market in Spanish and Portuguese. I added the Super because she's a diva. :P
Haha! I can't stand her. If I hear her baby cry thing one more time...so annoying. She's got an ok voice, but she's not very versatile. Go David Cook!
Ok, so I just read your AI post and I'm still laughing! I agree that Syesha NEEDS to go...but she probably won't. It seems like this might be one of those shocker weeks where one of the best leaves. I hope not. I think Jason Castro was the best last night, (even though I love David Cook and the Our Lady Peace song he sang reminds me of High School). Greg says that Jason Castro must be part Elfish. Think Lord of the Rings. Just change his dreads to some long straight flowing hair and make his ears a little more pointy...he really is a beautiful man (boy)!
We love David Cook and Jason Castro, too!! What a great season!
