I was disappointed in the Travel Channel show - weren't you? Anthony Bourdain is SOOOOO self-absorbed. He practically oozes "Look at how clever I am..."
I really wish there had been a different host, who had spent more time doing sight-seeing on the island, and a little LESS time on the food, and a WHOLE lot less time on clever one liners.
BUT any show on the Azores is better than no show on the Azores.
