Documentaries and Old TV Shows

This is a call for suggestions! We volunteer with our local library and I've recently requested that they get more documentaries and shows from the 70s and 80s. They're gratefully asking for more requests! Yay!

Please post ideas in your comments--here's what I've come up with so far with the help of some in our homeschool group:

Zoom
Wishbone
Electric Company
Little Bear (the Elsa Holmelund Minarik variety)
Paddington Bear series
Hatchy Milatchy
Old Sesame Street Videos (when they used to teach kids how to READ!)
3,2,1,...Contact!
Dr. Who series
Planet Earth Series
MacGyver
Bewitched
Mad About You
Brady Bunch
Cosby Show
Jetsons
Yogi Bear
Old Jerry Lewis Movies

LOL! I saw that on her blog! :) Weird, I got your comment 4 times via email. I just came over to say, "Did you want me to know that REALLY badly or did it glitch?" I guess it glitched since I don't see it here 4 times. :P

Kids Incorporated, Star Trek, Mork and Mindy, Get Smart (we just got the 1st season-love that show!) Hogan's Heros, Harry and the Hendersons, Gomer Pyle... hmm, I'm going to have to think some more.

Facts of Life and Family Ties were my favourites as a kid. Also, the Muppet Show!

"Schoolhouse Rock" - I can STILL sing the preamble to the Constitution at age 41 thanks to that show! (And I bet many of y'all can, too!) :-)

And I learned how a bill becomes a law, etc., etc.

Definitely "The Muppet Show", too.
