The world of online communication

My screen sometimes looks like this. It's insane, I know.

But I have to say. I much prefer this to the phone. I'm not much of a phone person
(I mean, don't get me wrong--this girl can TALK!).
I like email and instant messaging better.

And truth be told, my screen rarely looks like this, because if it did, I wouldn't get much done. This day was wild. So we took a screenshot. You know, to write a blog post.

Ha! THis post made me laugh because this is what my screen often looks like. And the sad thing is I am usually talking to people that live not so far away. It makes me think of that new TV show called "Life on Mars." I haven't seen it and cannot vouch for it's coolness, but it is about a guy that is teleported (is that the right word?) to 1973. He is a detective and has to figure out how to do his job w/o all the things we take for granted i.e instant messages. Sounds kinda interesting. Can you imagine life just 35 years ago? Times have changed!

Jill, I'm glad to know it's not just me! And that show does sound intriguing. I heard about a computer-addicted guy who is spending an entire year road tripping without using any GPS and Internet, etc. I can't imagine! WHAT ABOUT BLOGGING?!?!

Sierra, yep, there you are! :) And it IS tricky!!
